Making life easier …

Video Intercom - Door Phone Intercom installation

While cordless phones have increasingly become a way of life, it’s still important to plan where you want your phone outlets and whether or not one, two or three outlets will ever be enough.

With a smart wired home you don’t need to decide, and making changes is easier than you think. Smart wiring allows you the flexibility to change a data outlet to a phone oultet and vice-versa.

While we recommend putting at least one data outlet / phone outlet in each room to future proof your family for what may be around the corner – we can also prepare your house for future cabling requirements if your budget is exhausted at the time of construction.

The last thing you want is a tradesman making a mess in your brand new house just because you forgot to include a data point for the Playstation3 in behind the TV!

If you are building a large home, you may like to consider putting an intercom in each and every room. Intercoms like everything else, have developed with the investment of technology. It’s now possible to include radio, music and even picture distribution on some higher end systems, and most systems have an integrated electronic door release function to save you from getting up to open the door. Again, making life easier …
